Residential Projects

Issaquah Home & Deck Refurbishment
Wow! This home had been abandoned by the renters, and animals were going in and out. Hate to Paint? replaced all flooring, coordinated electrical work, disposed of failed appliances, installed new appliances, repaired a myriad of drywall holes, removed a stripper pole, and coordinated cleaning afterward. We also painted both the interior and the exterior trim and rebuilt the deck. Again, wow!
Ballard Craftsman
A beautiful Craftsman in Ballard, completed April 2018. The trim is the focal point.
Drafty Home Made Warm
We re-sided the west side of the home, installed a new front door, and installed a new front porch soffit. We used clear cedar for the soffit and stained it to match the door. In addition, when we pulled the siding off to replace it, we found that there wasn’t any sheathing or insulation, so we added both. The homeowners were instantly warmer and the home was less drafty.
Maple Leaf Deck Staining
Check out these side-by-side before and after views of this deck in Maple Leaf, completed May 2018.

Broadview Overhaul
A monochromatic color scheme modernized this home in Broadview as well as improved the carport.

Magnolia Deck Rebuilding
A repeat client had Hate to Paint? out to their home in Magnolia to rebuild the deck. Looking forward to some BBQs for sure!
Garage Floor
To fix this garage floor, we caulked the cracks to flatten out pavement. Then, we used a two-part floor epoxy system to make it look brand new.

Tacoma Home with Fire Damage
Hate to Paint? repaired and refurbished a home in Tacoma that suffered a house fire.
Richmond Beach Update
Hate to Paint? facilitated this high-end interior update in Richmond Beach. We coordinated tile work and counter-top replacement. And we installed new trim and painted throughout. Plus, we added a high-end spray finish on all trim and cabinets.
4,000-square-foot Woodinville Home
Hate to Paint? took incredible care painting the interior of this 4,000-square-foot home in Woodinville that featured 29-foot ceiling at the peak. Protection of the wood trim, appliances, and windows was of utmost concern. We provided a high-end spray finish for 45 doors on this project!
Commercial Projects
Ballard Single-Family Homes (4 Units)
This new construction project included painting the interior and exterior of four single-family homes in Ballard. The interior features spray finish on all the trim, windows, and doors. The exterior features both paint and stain, the latter with semi-transparent stain.
Forest Villa Condos in Shoreline (40 units)
Forest Villa Condos features two sister buildings, each of which have their own HOA. Hate to Paint? was hired to paint only one of the two buildings. We did so with a three-color scheme for which we provided a color consultant and renderings prior to the project. Check out this side-by-side before and after view.

Stella’s Landing Condos in Edmonds (41 units)
After facing issues with a previous painting contractor, Hate to Paint? was brought in to Stella’s Landing condos to paint the West side (facing Puget Sound) of this 41-unit complex.
Sonoma Villero Condos in Bothell (27 buildings)
This long-term project is currently in progress, but take a look anyway! The Sonoma Villero condos feature 27 buildings with carports, garages, and a clubhouse. Hate to Paint? has provided a color consultation to the HOA as well as advice on painting products. We completed the first building exterior painting in May 2018.
MOE’s Furniture
A SoDo staple, MOE’s Furniture received a dramatic color change, which has greatly improved and updated the store’s appearance. In addition to painting, we provided masonry repairs. To minimize disruption of this thriving business, Hate to Paint? worked around store hours, mostly on weekends.

Watershed FC Pizza
Watershed FC Pizza is located in the Starfire Soccer Complex in Tukwila. We completed this project on a tight timeline so that the restaurant could open on schedule.
Issaquah New Construction
A builder hired Hate to Paint? for both the inside and out of this new construction home in Issaquah. Check out the side-by-side before and after view.

Area Apartment and Condo Buildings: Finished Products
Check out the finished products of a few area apartment and condo buildings:
- Silver First in Everett (140 units): Hate to Paint? prepped and painted all wood surfaces, including replacing about 50 trim boards that were rotted. In addition, we provided a schedule to notify residents of our working hours, and we protected several automobiles whose owners did not adhere to our work schedule.
- Meridian North Condos in Northgate (33 units): Keeping with a monochromatic scheme, we’ve painted the North and South buildings and are gearing up for the East and West buildings later this year.
- Greenlake Apartment Building in Greenlake (20 units): Just two blocks off the lake, this privately owned building was repainted and features tongue-and-groove siding.
